TF2Bolt Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "Site" means TF2 Bolt, its website, and all associated services.
• "Bolts" means the Site's internal virtual unit of account, used solely to represent item value while using the Site.
• "Item(s)" means supported in-game virtual items from Team Fortress 2 or Rust. TF2 Items may be deposited to, held by, wagered through, or withdrawn from the Site. Rust Items are accepted only for immediate conversion to Bolts and are not held as playable/withdrawable Site inventory.
• "Wager Requirement" means the minimum wagering activity a User must complete before a withdrawal will be honoured, as described in Section 8.
• "User," "you" means any individual who registers for or otherwise accesses the Site.

2. Acceptance & Eligibility

By creating an account or using the Site in any way, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence if higher;
• You have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• Participating in the games offered on the Site is lawful in your jurisdiction of residence, and it is your sole responsibility to verify this before registering. The Site applies Maltese law as set out in these Terms, but that does not override mandatory laws that may apply to you in your place of residence.
• You are not accessing the Site from a jurisdiction where online gambling or skin-wagering services are prohibited, including any jurisdiction subject to Malta or EU sanctions restrictions.

We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity at any time, to restrict or refuse service to any individual or jurisdiction at our sole discretion, and to void any winnings and close any account found to be in breach of this Section.

3. Nature of the Service

The Site facilitates deposits of supported Team Fortress 2 and Rust Items, and wagering/withdrawal functionality for supported TF2 Items and Bolts. These Items may carry real monetary value on third-party marketplaces. Rust Items are converted to Bolts when a deposit is accepted and are not made available as physical Site inventory for games or withdrawal. Bolts are an internal, non-transferable unit used only to track Item value while using the Site - Bolts:

• have no value outside the Site;
• cannot be purchased directly with fiat currency;
• cannot be redeemed, cashed out, or exchanged for fiat currency under any circumstance;
• exist solely as an accounting convenience for gameplay across the Site's games.

The Site is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated in partnership with Valve Corporation, Steam, or Team Fortress 2. All trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners.

4. Account Registration & Security

You must authenticate via Steam OpenID to use the Site; the Site does not maintain a separate password of its own. You are solely responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your Steam account, including enabling Steam Guard;
• all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you;
• ensuring your registered Steam Trade URL is accurate and current.

We will never ask for your Steam password, Steam Guard authentication code, API key, or any other account credential, by any communication channel. Do not share these with anyone claiming to represent the Site - any such request is fraudulent. One account per person is permitted; see Section 10 regarding multi-accounting.

5. Deposits

Depositing an Item transfers its ownership to the Site in exchange for its confirmed Site value. Supported TF2 deposits are held as My Items, where you can use them or choose to sell them for Bolts. Supported Rust deposits convert directly to Bolts after Steam accepts the trade; supported CS2 and Dota 2 deposits convert to Bolts after the applicable Steam Trade Protection settlement. Values are calculated using automated third-party market pricing data at the time of deposit. By depositing, you represent that you are the rightful owner of the Item and that it was not obtained through fraud, theft, or any violation of Steam's own terms of service. Deposits are final and irrevocable once credited to your balance or My Items. We are not responsible for Items sent: to an incorrect or expired trade offer; outside of an active, Site-initiated deposit session; or that become unavailable due to your own Steam account's trade holds, restrictions, or bans.

6. Wagering & Games

The Site offers several games (including, as of this writing, Crates, Coinflip, Crafter, Jackpot, Roulette, Payload, and Matches) - see the About Us tab for a detailed explanation of each game's mechanics and odds. By wagering, you acknowledge and accept that:

• every game carries a built-in house edge, meaning the Site is structured to be statistically profitable over a large number of plays;
• outcomes are final and binding once a round or bet resolves;
• you may lose some or all of the value you wager, and should never wager value you cannot afford to lose;
• the Site's games are provided for entertainment purposes and are not a reliable or intended means of generating income.

Several games (Crates, Coinflip, Crafter) use a client-seed/server-seed provably-fair verification system; others (Roulette, Payload, Jackpot) use a round-based commit-then-reveal system. Matches (peer betting on real-world esports results) does not use either system, as its outcome is determined by a real-world event rather than a random-number generation process. 7. Pricing & Valuation

Item values (for deposit crediting, wager calculations, and withdrawal selection) are derived from third-party pricing data sources chosen by the Site. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or continuity of these third-party pricing sources. Prices may fluctuate, and the Site reserves the right to apply a manual price override to any Item at its discretion, including where automated pricing appears inaccurate or unavailable.

8. Wager Requirement

Each deposit increases a running Wager Requirement, calculated as the deposit's value multiplied by a rate set by the Site. This Wager Requirement must be met through gameplay before a withdrawal request will be honoured. Different games may count toward the Wager Requirement at different rates, at the Site's discretion, reflecting their differing house-edge structures. The Site may adjust the applicable multiplier or per-game rates at any time; such changes apply prospectively only and will not retroactively increase a Wager Requirement already satisfied at the time of the change. Your current Wager Requirement and progress toward it are always visible under Profile.

9. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests are fulfilled by Steam trade offer to the Trade URL registered on your account, subject to:

• your Wager Requirement being fully satisfied;
• the requested Item(s) being currently available in the Site's stock;
• standard fraud, abuse, and compliance review, which we may apply to any withdrawal at our discretion.

We do not guarantee the availability of any specific Item for withdrawal at any specific time. We reserve the right to delay, decline, reverse, or request additional verification for any withdrawal pending investigation of suspected fraud, chargebacks, exploitation of the Site, or breach of these Terms. Withdrawal requests may include a disclosed markup over raw market value; this markup is shown before you confirm the withdrawal and may change at the Site's discretion.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• create, control, or use more than one account, whether directly or through another person acting on your behalf;
• use bots, scripts, macros, or any form of automation to interact with the Site;
• exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behaviour of the Site for personal gain, rather than reporting them to us;
• reverse-engineer, probe, manipulate, or otherwise interfere with the Site's random-number generation or provably-fair systems;
• collude with other Users to guarantee or manipulate the outcome of any peer-vs-peer game (including Coinflip or Jackpot);
• initiate a chargeback, reversal, or dispute related to any transaction used to fund Items subsequently deposited to the Site;
• use the Site to launder funds, obscure the origin of Items, or circumvent Steam's own trading or marketplace policies;
• use the Site while located in a jurisdiction where doing so is unlawful.

Breach of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of balance and pending withdrawals, and reversal of any affected transactions, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content of the Site (excluding Team Fortress 2 assets, which remain the property of Valve Corporation) are the property of the Site's operators or their licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Site without prior written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on third-party infrastructure outside our control, including Steam's trading platform and third-party item-pricing providers. We are not liable for outages, delays, errors, or losses arising from the unavailability, inaccuracy, or policy changes of any third-party service the Site depends on.

13. Admin Discretion & Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, technical error, suspected exploit, or any situation not explicitly addressed by these Terms, Site administrators reserve the right to make a final determination - including adjusting balances, reversing transactions, voiding results, or restricting accounts - at their sole discretion. We aim to resolve disputes fairly and in good faith, but administrative decisions on individual disputes are final and binding.

14. Responsible Gambling

The Site's games involve real risk of loss and are intended for entertainment, not as a source of income or a means of recovering prior losses. If you believe you may have a gambling problem, please stop using the Site immediately and seek independent support. You may contact us at any time to request a voluntary self-exclusion, deposit limit, or full account closure, which we will honour promptly.

15. Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TF2 Bolt and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of Items, loss of Bolts, account suspension, service downtime, or third-party service failures - whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Maltese law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site and its operators from any claim, loss, or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice, including where we suspect a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Site and close your account at any time by contacting us; any remaining balance will be handled in accordance with our standard withdrawal policy where you remain eligible under Section 9.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies referenced within them, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Site regarding its use, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where required by law, will be separately notified to registered Users. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, save where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction of residence.
