High-value Strange decorated Professional safeguard
For a Strange War-Painted/Decorated Professional Killstreak item, a large percentage fallback can become unrealistic when the underlying base weapon is already expensive. If that underlying base exceeds 10 live TF2 keys and the exact Professional decorated variant is unavailable, TF2Bolt caps the fallback Killstreak addition at +1 live TF2 key rather than applying the large percentage multiplier.
Same-tier base weapons are checked first
For decorated weapons, TF2Bolt checks whether the same Killstreak tier exists on the underlying no-skin weapon before dropping to a lower tier. For example, an unpriced Strange Killstreak Totally Boned Disciplinary Action can use a real Strange Killstreak Disciplinary Action market match as its weapon base instead of immediately stripping Killstreak and inventing a +50% estimate.
Sheens and Killstreakers
Sheen and Killstreaker names are useful identifying attributes, especially on Professional Killstreak items. They can affect desirability, but not every exact combination has liquid market data. TF2Bolt displays detected Sheen and Killstreaker attributes even when the base pricing source does not provide a separate quote for that exact cosmetic combination.
